Thank you Lord for another day. Lord I’m asking prayer for anyone suffering with sickness, loss of a love one, loss of employment, or Lord just lost not knowing what to do with themselves; bless everyone this day, keep them in all walks of their day, as we will get through this disease called COVID. Amen

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for HE who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

NOW LETS TALK!

Hi all as we continue to watch this disturbing craziness going on so close to home, take a moment and catch your breath. Let’s recognize what is truly happening; we are in a midst of a dreaded disease all over the world, we are being attacked by people in our own country, and once again even in the midst of all the craziness we are about to see “positive “ history take place. Yeah I know you may say history is also the violence happening to our country! hum, not if you think about it, there has always been a group of people that has acted as though they were better than other groups of people, always demanding and getting away with breaking laws, it is now finally given a name, “PRIVILEGED”. There is a huge difference of what’s going on now: we have a guy that has always gave off the impression that he sits on the right hand of God, well he is finally, unwillingly leaving out of here in a few days. 🙌. 

Nope the “positive “ history I am referring to is the honor and proudness I feel as a woman to see, let’s just say it, a Black Woman, not just any woman but a black, brown, pecan, hazelnut, walnut, almond, macadamia shaded (sorry I got carried away with the various shades of nuts), Woman, is about to fulfill one of the highest positions in our country, and this is something we have never seen before. Hallelujah! gives me the same feeling I had when “my President and real First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama”, took office; what a feeling!

 Now I need to clarify something before it is blown all out of proportion, I am no way, shape or form referring to my 1st woman of color Vice President to be as a nut, I am merely drawing attention to the various shades a nut 🥜 comes in, just like African Americans/blacks we are blessed in a variety of shades; think about it, that is what makes us a unique group of people. I count it all joy to be a part of that diverse union. There is always others of the world trying hard to be like us copying our swag, our slang, hairstyles, whatever gets them close, but again we are a unique union. Growing up who we were as people stood out with pride, let us not allow others to diminish our pride, let us not forget how we leaned on prayer and faith for everything, let’s take it back to God!
